The training has been organized with the collaboration of several project partners:

Sáminuorra, Sweden
Sáminuorra is the largest Sámi youth organization currently active. Its function is to safeguard the rights of Sámi youth and to promote their interests. One of the most important tasks of Sáminuorra is to create meeting places for the Sámi youth to come together. Sáminuorra aspires to promote a strong sense of Sámi identity and community among the Sámi youth. The Sámi language plays a central role in the work of Sáminuorra and every opportunity is taken to encourage the use and preservation of the Sámi language. But Sáminuorra also serves the much wider and basic purpose of providing Sámi youth with a pillar of support as well as a platform for inspiration. The organization seeks to promote the needs, rights and interests of Sámi youth and especially the right of the Sámi People to self-determination. In addition, Sáminuorra encourages the active participation of Sámi youth and raises awareness among the Swedish public about the challenges Sámi youth are facing. More

Sámediggi and the Finnish Sámi Parliament Youth Council, Finland
The Sámi Parliament (Sámediggi) is the self-governing representative body of the Sámi People in Finland. Its main purpose is to plan and implement the cultural self-government guaranteed to the Sámi as Indigenous Peoples. The Sámi Parliament represents the Sámi at national as well as at international assemblies and it attends to the issues concerning Sámi language, culture and to their situation as Indigenous Peoples.The Finnish Sámi Parliament Youth Council deals with issues concerning Sámi youth. The Youth Council is responsible for preparing any Sámi parliament statements that concern Sámi youth and their living conditions. Aims are to foster the use of the Sámi language, to safeguard Sámi cultural rights across Finland and to work to strengthen the sense of belonging to Sámi culture among the Sámi youth. More

Youth Council - Sámi Parliament of Sweden
The Youth Council represents the voice of Sámi youth within the Sámi Parliament of Sweden. Its aim is to strengthen the Sámi youth's political engagement and participation in the Sámi community development as well as to increase the contact, solidarity and cooperation between Sámi youths over national borders.

Noereh!, Norway
Noereh! is a Sámi youth organization active on the Norwegian side of Sápmi. The organization is open to all Sámi youth, its members are between 12 and 30 years old and live all over the country. Neoreh! provides a place where Sámi youth can meet. The most important aim is to build capacity. Noereh! wants to establish local organizations across the country and recruit new members from all over Norway. It also represents and claims for rights of Sámi youth at the regional, national or international level. Noereh! aims at encouraging Sámi's social participation, strengthening Sámi languages and strengthening the Sámi society to be more open and inclusive in terms of ethnicity, sexual orientation, language, belief, political view and disability. Asociatia Young Initiative, Romania
The Young Initiative Association (AYI) is a Romanian non-governmental, non-profit organization that organizes and promotes projects in the fields of youth, non-formal education, civil society and volunteering. AYI's mission is to make a valuable contribution to the personal, educational and professional development of young peoples's lives, in order to help them shape a career matched to their true potential. An important part of AYI's work is dedicated to children with fewer opportunities. More

H.R.Y.O. Human Rights Youth Organization, Italy
The H.R.Y.O. - Human Rights Youth Organization is a non-profit association that organizes development projects and awareness raising activities on human rights, global education and development on a national and international level. The organization was founded in 2009 and aims to encourage the development of cultural initiatives and to foster the promotion of civil rights and endeavours to call international attention to various forms of human rights violations worldwide. It is supported by young people from different backgrounds in the Euro Mediterranean area who also actively participate in achieving the organization's mission. H.R.Y.O. is an expert on non-formal education with a focus on human rights, global education and development. More
